Italy Apartments, Italian Riviera The Village of Airole - Italian Riviera

The Roja Valley Apartments are situated on the very outskirts of the ancient village of Airole, about eight miles inland in the direction of Cuneo from Ventimiglia. Originally the customs house marking the French/Italian border, the building has been the subject of substantial renovation and refurbishment to create the ten luxury apartments which now form "Roja Valley".

In the immediate vicinity there are three other residential properties, all with stunning views of the Roja river valley. The medieval village of Airole itself, which clings to a rocky outcrop on the eastern valley wall, is about a mile away. A charming settlement of some 600 folk, its narrow, winding streets offer typical Italian atmosphere, and a limited selection of shops, restaurants and services. At the pinnacle of the village, there stands a wonderfully ornate church, from where a virtually uninterrupted 360 degree vista of the valley below can be enjoyed.
